so we had our first appt last Monday - and whoa! i'm a little farther along than i thought i was: 11 weeks. so gotta get all the testing done this coming week since i'm "high risk" being 37 years old. also have been doing far too much reading on this subject this week and am pretty nervous; especially with my history of working with developmentally disabled people, it's like i know too much.
so, when is everyone else due? I'm at 4 March - just at the peak of icy roads and such in Duluth! Gotta dig out my crampons!
I had suggested to Kelley that she get a really good pair of boots. Then Mary suggested she wait as her feet may grow! Since she can't seem to find women's shoes for her 5 1/2 AA feet, this could be a blessing. Narrow shoes begin at size 6. Crampons?? Is that similar to labor pains? Grammie K

ReplyDeleteMy feet did get a little bigger the first time. I'm still about a 1/2 size bigger than I was pre-pregnancy. Some people's feet return to their normal size afterward but get very swollen during pregnancy, so you'd need bigger shoes anyway. Waiting is probably a good idea.
